ZOOM sessions

Mary Elmusa and Becky Stevens are pleased to announce the latest Missouri Fiber Artists challenge, “Contemplations”.
The creative challenge will be to individually design a handmade book, to be included in an online exhibit.

Book of Summer Memories, SUZY FARREN

Handmade book, LEANDRA SPANGLER

Over several months, Jennifer Reis (Bio) will guide us through four professional development workshops. We will randomly select partners to do the professional development exercises with. We’ll improve our observational and critical writing skills, build our confidence, and learn methods of artist presentations. This series of workshops will benefit artists at every level, from those doing craft fairs, artists interested in becoming published, and those wanting shows at galleries and museums, and anyone wanting to put forth a more professional presence.

Mary and Becky took an art business workshop by Jennifer Reis at an SDA conference and we really liked her approach. She has a way of making this type of learning fun and engaging. You'll enjoy writing artist statements, and writing and talking about your work after this series of classes!

To take the workshop you will need to print out the registration form, fill it out in PRINT (no cursive) and return by mail before December 10, 2021.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: December 10th, fee is $75.
Contact either Mary Elmusa or Becky Stevens with any questions you might have.
