MoFA Publication and Newsletter Submission Guidelines

In order to streamline and make our volunteer jobs easier, our newsletter and web editors have established the following guidelines;

Newsletter Submission Guidelines
– All submissions should be fiber related.
– All submissions will be edited and designed in line with the newsletter format.
– All  submissions that are outdated by the time of publication will not be included.
– All pdf’s or un-editable ads or flyers must be no larger than 7.5 inches wide and 10 inches long.
– Editable Word .doc or .docx format.
– Do not use ALL CAPS.
– Please include high resolution (300 dpi) photos in their position within the text, with credits underneath.
– All submissions will be edited and designed in line with the newsletter format.
– Submit your article in a Word document to newsletter@missourifiberartists.org

Submissions: May 15-Spring / Delivered: June 15
Submissions: August 15-Summer / Delivered: September 15
Submissions: November 15-Fall / Delivered: December 15
Submissions: February 15-Winter / Delivered: March 15


Web Content Submissions:

– Email only – send your information to webeditor@missourifiberartists.org– Information should be print ready. Our webmasters will not edit. Please provide all links necessary for content.
– Images should be under 1080 pixels and under 100k. Images must be clear and in focus. They can be re-sized, but cannot be made clear.
– Expect a one week turnaround for information sent for web publication. It may happen sooner, but remember MoFA is a volunteer organization.
