Vote Alan Measles for God, 2007
Alan Measles was Mr. Perry’s childhood teddy bear and his friend. This wool tapestry glorifies ‘Mr. Measles’ as a savior 2007. Who could argue until we know his platform?

Glazed ceramics display Grayson Perry’s signature style of art. He works in a breadth of mediums. His style is based on research and clever resolutions.

From the title, it seems to be related to Christianity. However, Perry’s story is of a mid-century modern home, and a business transaction. Detail below.


Godfather 2007 Another medium Perry uses is oil painted cast iron

Britain is Best, 2014 is Perry’s foray into hand embroidery. It is a comment on the actions and consequences between England and Norther Ireland.


Sacred Tribal Artefact (detail below), 2023. A tapestry inspired by Persian Rugs and American Folk Art. Grayson Perry thinks deeply about his subjects.
